Moyo Lawal (born 1 January 1988) is a Nigerian actress. She is best known for her roles in the films Demystified, Here Love Lies, and Èwò (Forbidden).
She has portrayed many roles in films such as Shukura in True Caller, Regina in Complicated, and Juliet in Falling in Love. She received the “Revelation of the year” award at the 2012 Best of Nollywood Awards.

Early life
Moyo Lawal was born on 1 January 1988 in Badagry, Lagos State, southwestern Nigeria. She is from the Yoruba tribe.
Education
Lawal holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Creative Arts from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
Career
Lawal made her acting debut as Chioma, an Igbo girl, in the TV series Shallow Waters. She later landed the role of Chinny in the award-winning TV series Tinsel.
The star actress has also appeared in many movies and films. She played Annastasia in the 2024 comedy film Move Like a Boss, produced by Tim McManus. She portrayed Juliet in the 2023 drama Falling in Love.
Lawal has also appeared in films like ‘Love in Strange Places’ as Sonia, ‘Don’t Test My Love’ as Zaza, and ‘Goodbye to Trouble’ as Mary. She starred as Naomi in the TV series Aso Ebi, alongside Kunle Remi and Segun Arinze, from 2016 to 2017.
Her television series credits also include Evelyn in Our Society, Najite in Husbands of Lagos, and Doyinsola in Blood of Enogi. She won the Revelation of the Year Award at the 2012 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards.
In 2025, she portrayed Olori in the thriller Èwò (Forbidden), starring Ademola Adedoyin, Bimbo Ademoye, and Saidi Balogun. She appeared on Google’s list of the most searched persons by Nigerians in 2023.

Personal life
Moyo Lawal is currently single. She survived a car accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, on a journey from Asaba to Lagos on 28 October 2013.
