Nonye Alugwo Lola Omotayo-Okoye (born 2 September 1972) is a Nigerian communications executive, marketing professional, and internet personality. She is best known as the wife of Peter Okoye, one half of the Afro-pop group P-Square.

Early Life
Lola Omotayo-Okoye was born on 2 September 1972 to a Nigerian father, Oladipo Adewale Omotayo, and a Russian mother, Alevtina Aliona. She attended a boarding school in Ondo State, where she learned to speak Yoruba.
Education
Omotayo enrolled to study Psychology at the University of Ife in 1990. She completed her studies at San Francisco State University, where she studied theatre and film.
Career
While in the United States of America, Omotayo worked for an I.T company. After spending some years there, she quit her post to return to Lagos, Nigeria. Before returning, she did some interviews to ensure she secured a job first.
When she returned to Nigeria, she started working as an Event Manager for the telecommunications group ECONET. After spending some years there, she moved to the newspaper Daily Times.
She spent about five years working for an advertising company, FKG2. After welcoming her son, she chose to work at Nosco Oil & Gas, her father’s company, so she could spend enough time with her baby. She joined the company as an executive director.
Personal Life
Lola Omotayo is currently married to dancer Peter Okoye. They tied the knot in a high-profile traditional wedding in Lagos in November 2013. She has two children, Cameron and Aliona Okoye.
Peter Okoye proposed to her with a diamond engagement ring and a new white Range Rover Vogue worth N15 million in 2013. They met while she was working with FKG2, an advertising company, and dated for many years.
Sadly, her father, Oladipo Adewale Omotayo, passed away in 2020.
