Bolaji Ogunmola (born 21 April 1992) is an actress, model and social media influencer. She has starred in TV series and films such as Jenifa’s Diary, Lekki Wives, Tough Love, MTV Shuga Naija, and Slum King.

Ogunmola has also appeared in Sobi’s Mystic, A Simple Lie, Strangers, Obara’M, Kesari: The King, and 3 Working Days. She won the Revelation of the Year award at the 2020 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards.

Early Life

Bolaji Ogunmola was born on 21 April 1992 in Lagos State, Nigeria. She grew up with her grandfather before going to study in Ibadan, Oyo State. She is the first of three children and is of the Yoruba tribe.

She began acting in church after her drama team asked her to play the role of Esther.

Education

Ogunmola attended Philomena Nursery and Primary School, Ebute Metta, Lagos. She also studied at Yinbol (Yinka Bolarinwa) College, Ibadan.

She holds a degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). She also attended the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) and obtained a diploma in Acting from the Royal Arts Academy, Surulere, Lagos.

Career

Ogunmola started acting in 2013. She appeared in the 2013 Next Movie Star reality show and made her acting debut in Uduak Isong’s Okon Goes to School, directed by Lancelot Imasuen.

In 2016, she attended an acting workshop, where film director Biodun Stephen discovered her and featured her in Sobi’s Mystic. She has since appeared in other productions like Tough Love by Biodun Stephen, Outcast by Emem Isong, and Out of Luck by Niyi Akinmolayan.

In 2017, she appeared as Amanda in Obong Patrick’s drama film Tempted. She earned two nominations at the 2018 City People Movie Awards. In 2020, she won the Revelation of the Year award at the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards.

In 2024, Chude Jideonwo gave her a shout-out for her “Filmmaking contributions on YouTube”.

She starred as Anwuli in the hit drama series MTV Shuga Naija and appeared in the television series Slum King, directed by Dimeji Ajibola.

She has also launched a YouTube channel titled “Bolaji Ogunmola TV” and has released many projects, including My Housemate, Courtyard, Longing, God in Her Eyes, The Point of Life, Terminally Crazy, Anjola, Between Salt and Sugar, and Beautiful Sin.

Ogunmola has other television and film credits, including Jenifa’s Diary, Lekki Wives, Progressive Tailors Club, A Simple Lie, Living with Baami, Broken Deal, Ajosepo, and Japa.

In 2025, she co-produced and played Bugari in the action-comedy film Gingerrr, which hit cinemas nationwide on September 26. She stars in the 2026 hit thriller series Blood Sisters.

Ogunmola is a registered member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria and the Producers Guild. She also founded her own production outfit, The Ogunmola Company. She was featured as the Cover Star for the June 2026 edition of Vanguard Allure magazine.
